In Atlanta on April 22 & 23, we are going to explore ways mobile media can help people stay healthy.  Student teams from universities around Atlanta will be equipped with mobile technology and given one day to plan, shoot, edit, and present short videos designed to be distributed to cell phones.

The goal of these videos will be to encourage young people to be tested for HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.  Today, the CDC estimates that over 250,000 people are infected with HIV and don’t know it.  Being tested is the best way to stay healthy and to protect others.  We plan on making these videos available on National HIV Testing Day, June 27.
